The Dearborn Community Chorus was founded in 1963 as one of the many cultural organizations sponsored by the City of Dearborn Recreation Department, Michigan. Throughout its long history, the mission of DCC has been to encourage and promote the development of a vital cultural environment within the Dearborn area while providing entertainment for the community.
Dearborn Holiday Choral Festival Fund!
Since 2001, the Dearborn Community Chorus and Vanguard Voices have presented concerts featuring major choral works, along with a variety of guest soloists, professional orchestras and instrumental ensembles.
This year the choirs are putting on a special performance featuring Robert Shaw’s “The Many Moods of Christmas” performed with special guest the 54-member Dearborn Symphony! Donations are being solicited to cover concert expenses, including payment for professional musicians and the purchase of musical scores for the combined chorus of 100+ singers.
